IRGSP1.0 assembly was reconstructed from 3,475 genomic sequences: 2,482 BACs, 901 PACs, 37 fosmids, 2 plasmids, 5 PCR products, 41 partial sequences from genomic clones and 7 Syngenta sequences. This Minimum Tiling Path (MTP) represents the clone order and clones' overlaps in the IRGSP physical map. Seventy-two gaps, including 44 physical, 9 centromere and 19 telomere gaps, were still remained. For these gaps, 1000 of Ns were inserted. Sequencing errors were corrected using resequencing data of both illumina and GS-FLX produced in collaboration with National Institute of Agrobiological Sciences and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
